On Saturday 8th June 2024, 27 colleagues from WCCTV are taking on the ‘Big Hike’ around the Peak District to raise funds for Cancer Research UK, the world leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through vital research.
WCCTV endeavours to support a variety of charities throughout the year, but each year the company has one major focus. Over the last year, the Wireless team has been greatly affected by the effects of Cancer, making it a cause very close to all our hearts.
The Big Hike involves a demanding 25.8 mile trek, which will take the team past the Chatsworth Estate, along the Limestone Way and through the dales of Lathkil, Deep and Monsal. The hike ascends a total of 1,850 feet, exploring woodlands, waterfalls and limestone cliffs in a gruelling one-day walking challenge.
David Gilbertson, Chief Executive Officer at Wireless CCTV said: “Many of us have been impacted by this cruel disease or know someone who has been directly affected. Cancer does not discriminate against age, sex or social status, but together with your support we can do our bit in fighting this disease”.
Donating is easy and secure via WCCTV’s JustGiving page. Alternatively, you can simply scan the QR code on the image below. JustGiving is fully compliant with the Data Protection Act and GDPR, ensuring your information is safe.
