WCCTV, the UK’s leading provider of redeployable CCTV, body worn cameras and site security systems, has recently opened an office in Newport, South Wales, to further the Company’s rapid expansion plans and better serve its Welsh client base.
The opening of the new office follows a period of sustained growth for WCCTV, which has led to the Company recently securing a £30m investment from mid-market private equity house LDC for a minority stake.
WCCTV, who are celebrating 20 years in business in 2021, will create an additional 10 new jobs via the opening of the Welsh office.
Head of Communications Daniel del Soldato said: "The company has successfully opened new offices across the UK and in the US as part of our ambitious development.
"We are already working with clients within the utilities, retail, transport and construction sectors, as well as local authorities and housing associations in Wales and will be developing and adding to these from our new base."
WCCTV has enjoyed a period of rapid and sustained growth in which the Company has more than tripled the size of its workforce in three years, with employee numbers passing the 130 mark in mid-2021.
The Company is set to post record turnover and profit figures in FY21 as demand for body cameras, temporary site security and portable surveillance solutions continues to surge, and was recently named the overall winner of the 10 Ones to Watch in The Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100.
The Newport office becomes the Company's fifth global office joining its Greater Manchester, Edinburgh, Luton and Dallas (USA) offices.
