Securing What Matters Most in Scotland
Story Contracting was appointed to deliver the Invercoe Bridge replacement in the Scottish Highlands. The site was remote and had limited infrastructure, making it vulnerable to trespass and theft.
WCCTV deployed a solar-powered Rapid Deployment CCTV Tower to provide visual deterrence and live monitoring. The Tower’s onboard infrared sensors created a virtual perimeter, while the bright yellow housing made it clear the site was under surveillance.
To support project delivery, WCCTV also provided a time lapse camera mounted on the Tower. This captured construction progress, allowing the team to produce a visual record for stakeholders and internal reporting.
Paul Hardaker, Senior Site Agent, said: “We’ve had no issues with trespass or security, and the time lapse element is excellent for showing progress. The system gave us peace of mind throughout the project.”
