Speak to us About Arranging Your Fully Managed Service

Simply setting up a CCTV system isn’t enough, you need a high-quality service to back it up. Discover how a fully-managed security service can support you here.

Our Fully-Managed Security Service

Across our full product range, WCCTV supplies a comprehensive service plan designed to deliver peace of mind and convenience, ensuring you receive the highest level of operational effectiveness.

Our ambition in making CCTV cameras and security equipment as user friendly as possible has shaped a step-by-step process that reduces our customer's workload and provides them with a service that delivers the right results every time.

Below, we detail how this process works and highlight some of the key benefits of using a fully-managed security service.

Managed CCTV for Construction Site Security

Why Should You Use a Fully-Managed Security Service?

Deploying CCTV cameras at your construction site, rail project, utility plant or in your town/city centre should provide you with peace of mind that it is fully protected.

But, how can you be certain that everything is working the way it should be? Are the cameras online? Are they recording? Are they pointing in the right direction?

Being left to dial into your cameras manually to check they are operating as needed is a time-consuming process that’ll cause a distraction from your day-to-day work.

By utilising a fully-managed security service like with ourselves, it takes away all the uncertainty, reduces your workload and allows you to focus on your primary role without worrying about security.

It also provides you with the reassurance that your cameras are correctly installed, online, recording and ready to detect activity at your sites.

Additionally, if criminal activity is detected at your site, there are NSI Gold Accredited security professionals monitoring the live footage and ready to respond in real-time.

By choosing to work with WCCTV as your security provider, you can be confident that you’re receiving an end-to-end service that covers all this and more.

How Does Our Fully-Managed Security Service Work?

Below is the step-by-step process that makes up WCCTV's Fully-Managed security service.

Each element of this is specifically designed to ensure the best results:

Site Assessments and Guidance on Camera Placement

If you’re considering using WCCTV's Rapid Deployment CCTV system, your first step will be to discuss your requirements with one of our experienced security experts.

They will ask you some key questions about the site or property you're looking to protect. This will ensure we can offer the correct CCTV system and service that meets your needs.

Our security systems have supported clients for over 20 years, so we have the expertise and knowledge in helping find the best service for you.

We will ask about the following topics:

  • Power availability
  • The size and layout of your site
  • Any vulnerable areas such as access points and sheltered areas
  • The hours of the day you need the site protecting
  • Whether the requirement is temporary or long-term
  • The project length

Perhaps most importantly, we will take the time to find out more about your specific security risks - what is unique about your site, what challenges will you face, what kind of material or tools will you have on-site.

This should give us more than enough information to recommend the perfect security solution for you, however, we offer an additional step.

One of our security experts can undertake a site visit or survey to get a more detailed understanding of your requirements should you wish. This is a free and no-obligation service.

Learning more about your specific needs will help our security experts determine the optimal locations for the camera (or cameras) to ensure there are no blindspots in the CCTV system.

It will also help us determine whether we need to utilise video analytics to cover vulnerable areas and if we need to supply a CCTV system that is completely power autonomous.

CCTV Tower Hire for Short and Long-Term Use

Not all sites require the same length of security service, meaning that fixed CCTV systems are not suitable options for all industries.

Especially with sectors such as construction sites, vacant property and traffic management where requirements are usually temporary, there are often fewer suitable options available to them.

When creating our fully-managed service, we wanted to ensure all industries could utilise our products. To do this, we offer both rental and permanent options for our security solutions, so that you can fully customise them to your surveillance needs.

Remote Diagnostics and Maintenance Support

All of WCCTV's Rapid Deployment CCTV systems are fitted with ongoing, preventative remote diagnostic tools - including WCCTV’s Heartbeat service

Twice a day, every day, Heartbeat will check:

  • Connection Issues: Reports when the connection to the surveillance unit fails or the unit goes offline
  • Camera Failures: Detects if a camera has developed a fault or is tampered with
  • Hard Disk Failures: Detects hard disks failures or if it stops recording
  • Recording Issues: Reports if the system records for less than expected
  • Time & Date Inaccuracy: Reports when the time is incorrect or tampered with

A simple power reboot can resolve up to 99% of these issues. That's why WCCTV supplies all of our surveillance cameras with the WCCTV Smart Switch, an automated power switch that allows for a remote reboot to take place.

So there's no need for site visits to reboot your equipment; we'll handle everything remotely for you - most of the time before you even know there's a problem.

Live Alarm Monitoring by Trained Professionals

CCTV cameras act as a powerful visual deterrent, helping to prevent trespassing, vandalism and theft at your sites. They also provide high-quality video evidence of any incidents or activities that take place.

But when boosted by remote video monitoring services, they act as a virtual security guard - always alert and always on guard, ready to respond and protect.

At WCCTV, all of our Rapid Deployment CCTV systems deliver live and recorded video via cellular connectivity, which can be sent directly to our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).

These NSI Gold Accredited Security professionals will monitor for any alarms, immediately review the footage to verify it, and then take appropriate action to prevent it, including dispatching mobile guards or contacting the Police.

CCTV Monitoring Station

Mobile Keyholding and Incident Response

Every site manager will understand that feeling when they receive the dreaded 2am call informing them of a security breach.

It’s very simple for a supplier to install CCTV cameras on site and walk away, but who is the one who is going to pick up the responsibility when an incident occurs? You.

By using one of WCCTV’s Rapid Deployment CCTV systems, we provide all the support and tools that allow you to focus on your other responsibilities, whilst ensuring peace of mind on your site’s protection.

As part of our service we provide Mobile Keyholding service which lets you avoid those early wakeup calls and entrusts them in the hands of security professionals.

These individuals will attend the site, assess the threat and respond appropriately, providing a full incident report at the end that you can review.

Expertly trained, all those who respond have extensive knowledge in how to react during emergency situations to protect your site and prevent it from any imminent dangers.

Technical Support and Preventative Maintenance

With any security solution, there is the possibility of product depreciation and software errors which could negatively impact the service in which you receive.

That’s why we aim to be proactive in the support and preventative maintenance offered to our customers right from the start to the finish of their time using our service.

In addition to the diagnostics service we provide, we have technical support and customer service experts that can be contacted if you require any assistance.

Using their knowledge and expertise, they will help to clearly guide you through any troubleshooting processes or explain the steps being taken to resolve any issues logged with ourselves.

However, most importantly, we ensure to run regular diagnostics reports and maintenance check-ins to ensure both our service and products continue to provide the high-level security service promised.

This allows us to catch any potential issues early and respond promptly before it impacts your security.

Full Incident, Uptime and False Alarm Reports

We understand that trusting an external company with your security, even one with over 20-years of experience, is a scary thought, especially if you have no information as to what is happening.

With our fully-managed security service we ensure that you remain included in your site’s security and are aware of any incidents, false alarms, and operational functions.

You will receive full incident, uptime and false alarm reports that provide you with all the key information relating to each matter. This allows you to review the service in which we provide you with, ask questions and seek additional security support to help with future plans.

We want to be transparent with our customers and continuously improve the service we provide, and reporting is the way we do this.

CCTV Tower Providing Vacant Property Security

How Does Our Fully-Managed Security Service Protect Your Site?

As part of our fully-managed security service, a team of NSI Gold Accredited security experts will be monitoring your sites - proactively protecting them from theft and criminal damage.

If an intruder is spotted on your site, the team will:

1. Issue Audio Warnings

Once an intruder alert is verified, our monitoring partners will issue an audio warning. This could be a:

  • Banshee siren alarm
  • Blue strobe light alarm
  • Audio voice-down warning
  • All of the above

Typically, an audio warning is enough to deter unwanted intruders from causing damage to the property or site.

2. Contact the Police

In some cases, the audio warning will not be enough to prevent intruders from accessing your site or property.

As soon as our monitoring partners detect an intrusion at your site, they will immediately contact the Police and make them aware that they will be responding to a real, verified threat, one that requires immediate assistance.

This level of managed security can mean the difference between loss of property, criminal damage and a successful arrest.

3. Inform You

Once we know the site has been protected and a response is en-route, our team will reach out to you as the keyholder to alert you of the incident.

We understand that there may be damage and/or missing items you will need to report right away, therefore, our team will provide full details on the incident, including what response has been taken and where the incident has occurred.

4. Keep Watch

Our monitoring partners will continue to monitor the site — including the entire perimeter — both during and after an incident until the Police have arrived.

5. Package Evidence

Our Rapid Deployment CCTV Cameras have up to 4TB of onboard recording capacity.

This allows our team to download videos and images of the incident and package these for you in a playable format as part of a full incident report. This evidence can be provided to the police and passed onto insurers if needed.

Deter - Catch - Record

The video below demonstrates the effectiveness of this process in action. If unwanted intruders attempt to access your sites, WCCTV will Deter, Catch and Record them:
